Out of the three art fairs occurring the week of February 16th to the 20th, 2022, the most "LA" of the art fairs was Felix. Featuring more than 50 galleries from all over the world, the Felix Art Fair was located at the Roosevelt Hotel, in the heart of Hollywood. Each of the galleries invited were situated either in the bungalows along the David Hockney painted swimming pool or on the 11th and 12th floors of the hotel overlooking the Mann's Chinese Theater. This year's fair was larger than last, and the eventual end of the pandemic, made the setting an almost celebratory event. It was easy to find something enjoyable and likable about each gallery presentation. The gallerists were more than willing to share information about the art and artists. It was a wonderful experience, and I was glad to be able to share the photos below.
