M. Herrington Gallery is a new contemporary fine art gallery located in Venice, California. It's first show is entitled "First Cut" featuring art from Mari Andrews, Britt Bass, Melissa Herrington, Cait O'Connor, and Michelle Weiner.
The
word cut can take on different forms and meaning given its context. Each of the artists contend with the verb;
Carving, gathering, reducing, and intersecting their media to produce
bodies of work. The gallery as a whole asserts the noun form;
Pronouncing its design and style, but most importantly, its fit within
the broader spectrum of the Los Angeles art scene.
